Pastor David Anthony Sabella
is a third generation minister of
the Gospel. His grandfather, Rev.
Anthony P. Sabella was an Italian
immigrant from southern Italy who
converted from Roman
Catholicism and became a
preacher in the Italian Christian
Church of North America. His
father, Rev. Ty Sabella, is a
retired Disciples of Christ minister
who continues to work as an
interim pastor in Western
Pennsylvania.

David’s background before entering the ministry in 1998 was
publishing and advertising. He has a degree in Visual
Communications from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh as well as a BA
degree in Art from Millersville University. He earned his Masters of
Divinity degree from the Reformed Presbyterian Theological
Seminary in Pittsburgh, PA and will soon be working toward a
Doctorate in Ministry degree from there.

David is married to his lovely wife of 32
years, Fran (Rosenblum from Philly), who
co-ordinates the family literacy program
for the Harrison County school system and
is instrumental in the work of the church.
The Sabella’s have two children, Jonathan
David who recently earned a doctorate
degree in political science from the
University of Rochester and Anna Mary
who has earned a masters degree in
security policy from George Washington
University and is employed by the federal
government in Washington DC.
